What is EduMentalAssignPro?

EduMentalAssignPro is an innovative plugin for Microsoft Teams Education that helps teachers optimize their assignment management. By synchronizing all school-wide assignments on a Swiss server, these tasks can be easily searched and filtered. Changes are automatically updated, eliminating the need for manual intervention.

• Card and List Views: Assignments can be displayed either in a quick overview (card view) or in a detailed, sortable manner (list view).

• School-Wide Synchronization: All assignments are stored on a central server and are accessible to all authorized teachers.

• Soon: Curriculum integration will be rolled out soon, starting with swiss german curriculum Lehrplan 21.

The sign up process

EdumentalAssignPro is an app for schools. One tenant is one school. The school buys a subscription for the whole organization (fee depends on teachers quantity). Admin grant all permisions for the whole organization. Before you start using EdumentalAssignPro within Teams, we assume that the user have an educational tenant already filled with a school, classes/teams, teachers, and students. The app is available for users with license “Microsoft 365 A5 for faculty”.

Sharing assignments within school

When a teacher adds EdumentalAssignPro application and opens it at first, they sync all their assignments to application database. Therefore our application stores and gives access to all assignments of teachers from same school in one place. After sync all assignments will be displayed on a dashboard.

Our application provides two ways of assignments view: Card and List view.

EdumentalAssignPro has a toolbar which gives an opportunity to easily search the assignment by Name, Instructions text.

Advanced Filter: 

In the EduMentalAssignPro interface, you have the option to filter assignments using advanced filters to better manage and organize your tasks. Here's a description of the available filter options:

Advanced Filter Options

Status: This dropdown menu allows you to filter assignments based on their current status. You can select multiple statuses to view assignments that meet any of the selected criteria.

The available status options are:

1. Planned: Assignments that are scheduled but not yet published.
2. Published: Assignments that are available to students.
   
3. Assigned: Assignments that have been assigned to students.
   
4. Draft: Assignments that are still in draft form and not yet finalized.
   
5. Inactive: Assignments that are not currently active.
   
   
   
   
   
   
6. Show Only My Assignments: This checkbox allows you to filter the assignments to show only those that you have created or are responsible for.
   
7. Show Hidden: This option allows you to include assignments that are currently hidden in your view.

Create assignment copy

You can quickly click through the assigments by using the arrow on the left and right side or using the arrow left and right keys on your keyboard.

Then you can click on “Go to assignment (in the new tab)“ if the button is enabled, to go to edit page of the assignment.

To create a copy of the assignment you must click on “Create from this“ button.

The list consists of classes where the teacher is a member and has permissions to create assignments.

After choosing a name and a class you need to click on “Create“.

You must be logged in with your school account in the browser. 

Created copies of resources are true copies so changes in copies will not affect original files.
